Taylor Swift has always had a very specific style. She considers it carefully and resolves her style for a good six months at a time, always based on a 50s-inspired hair and make up look, with a youthful, feminine silhouette. She has moved recently from dresses to shorts and mini skirts, and her outfits of the past week demonstrate this shift.

She has also embraced animals on her tops, including this oversized cat sweatshirt (The Great Catsby) that I know is going to be as popular as any pop song she has ever released.

I love how she has embraced flats, always wearing lace-up brogues or ballet flats with her girly looks. She has recently added sneakers to this list as she continues to exercise more frequently.

Despite the apparent girly tone of her style, there is a sophistication to these outfits. Each one fully thought through, including accessories. Although my favourite of the moment is that handbag she has been wearing everywhere of late. I love it. Granny chic at its best. So what do you think of Taylor's style? Any inspiration?
