Victoria Beckham Covers UK Elle Magazine, March 2013
My mate Victoria Beckham is on fire right now. Not only has she moved her family back to England — and seems to be quite hands-on in the ferrying kids to school and what not — but she is also due to be showing her latest collections in a few weeks, and has landed in two magazines for March, including the cover of UK ELLE. Phew.
The story inside is nicely revealing. VB shows her vulnerability and explains how it feels to live in the shadow of David Beckham, Geri Halliwell and others. And how fashion has helped her find her own voice, a voice she is confident about. Makes me happs, it does.
And her kids are also held to a higher standard. Apparently her parenting is all about teaching them the value of hard work and dedication. Not sponging off the millions squirreled away in the family bank accounts. As Vicky says, "I have to work" as it is how they define themselves.
I like it. I feel that the images coud have been a little more interesting to be fair. But whatevs. Nice one. Watch the video below to see how VB made the cover.
