The stars of the new movie, Non Stop, were in Paris this week for the premier. Both wore little black dresses. Both were just beautiful. Sometimes simple really works. And in the case of this Lanvin on Michelle Dockery, it was perfect.

Sure there are no bells, whistles, sheers or cut outs. There is no lace, no diamonds, no colour blocking and no embellishment. And yet, the intelligent design and fit of this dress are more than enough. Yay.

Her co-star, Julianne Moore, was just as delightful. Demonstrating a bit more of her signature fashion-risk-taking, Julianne wore Balenciaga with that strong 80s-inspired shoulder. Just gorgeous. It really didn't need anything more. I love it.
