The big colour story on the 2014 BAFTAs last night was berry shades. If you weren't in black, you were in something that could be made into a smoothy. And it was delicious. Especially from Oprah. Mama O wore this glorious deep red. It was Stella McCartney. And she was sewn into it to ensure perfect fit. How utterly marvellous.

Also in wonderful berry was Naomie Harris, who wore Gucci. And while I really don't like the way in which we can see her rib cage (as ever) through her neckline, I do love the three quarter sleeve, the colour, the lit up the leg and the shawl collar. In fact I think it is magnificent.

And then I absolutely insist we talk about Lily Allen. She is wearing Vivienne Westwood in a riot of colour. This dress is called the Grande Bubbly Corset Gown. Well exactly. And it is all that and more. Lily probably didn't need the eccentric hair piece, to be fair, it was a bit much. But you can't fault this for pure entertainment and pizzaz.
