Oh how we love a best dressed list from an awards show. Even if the Costume Designers' Guild is not quite as prestigious as the actors or directors one. But turning up on the red carpet — in shades of the sea — were three lovely lady actors who all looked glorious. My favourite was Olivia Munn in J.Mendel. She just looked sublime in that figure hugging turquoise.

The old-Hollywood vibe that Olivia created, was echoed by Amy Adams in a greener shade. She wore Frocktalk by Kristen Burke and it was gorgeous in the detail of the embroidery and tiny bows — as well as the open back. It pairs so beautifully with Amy's colouring as well.

And Mindy Kaling rounded out the threesome with her aqua dress. Look, it was all to embellished for my taste, but I do thing that she looks beautiful. And she pared back the make-up to make sure that the Salvadore Perez gown was the only thing that was in focus. Well played ladies.
