I thought it was time for an update on Solange Knowles, y'all. Her sister has been getting all the glory in the past week, and yet Solange has been looking all kinds of awesome. Like on Wednesday night she wore this navy and brown (AWESOME colour combo) frock by Ostwald Helgason for a black women in music event.

Last week Solange was in New Orleans getting sporty ahead of the Superbowl game. I really liked what she did with that, wearing a kind of deconstructed, very on-trend for spring, white sports look by none other than Sportmax. There are elements of avante garde with this that resonate well with Solange even though there is no print. Well played.

And then there was the time when she paired her signature prints with the sports luxe trend. I think that this is the way to go for us. If you are looking for fashion inspiration, it is pretty much all right here in this picture. Except for the shoes. I really hate the shoes. Now go!
PS This woman can do no wrong with lip colour. AMAZING.
