You may have noticed that there is a theme on the blog today. Ladies in red. Yup, sometimes you really do have to spell out the trend. And on the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscars After Party circuit, it was all about the red dress. Bright and bold and totally opposite to the ceremony itself. I love it. Just look at Kristen Bell in her Zuhair Murad dress with that daring but seductive neckline. She is having a cracker of a style week. Amazing.

And Emma Roberts looked totally adorable in her little Fendi dress — she had hotfooted it back from the Paris fashion week shows to attend the party. And while the dress looks much better from up close than it does from a distance, this may be the best she has ever looked. In my mind.

Also looking the best ever was funny girl, Aubrey Plaza. She wore Emilio Pucci and managed to embrace not just her sexiness and hotness, but also proved the point that ladies that make us laugh can be beautiful. I think she has had a pretty good style week too. New stylist?

Also at the Vanity Fair party was actress Jaime King being all super-high-fashion in an Ulyana Sergeenko Asian-inspired gown that looks incredible on the ex-model. It definitely deserved a mention because it is a amazing dress — but also because I LOVE LEMON BREELAND. (Jaime later attended the Elton John post-Oscars party where the other photo was taken.)
