Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, in Hobbs for St Patrick's Day
Every year Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wears green on St Patrick's Day, like people all around the world. And we know how much K-Middy loves to dress to a theme...such fun! This year she wore a gorgeous trench-style green wool coat from one of my personal favourite UK high street stores, Hobbs. Very good.
She paired the Persephone coat — with mock croc belt detail — with a hat by Gina Foster and a shamrock brooch from Cartier. She also appeared to have a new pair of green courts that I am sure we will see every St Paddy's day from here on out.
I actually think Kate looks great. Fab design. Sophisticated tailoring — especially considering it is a high street coat. Definitely on trend in the forest shade and double breasted silhouette. Very, very cool.
And as usual the princess seemed to have an absolute blast. She engaged with everyone, had a ball handing out the shamrocks and laughed and smiled like her life depended on it. She really is such an asset to The Family.
