Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, In Emila Wickstead for St Patrick's Day (Again)
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has already made a habit of re-wearing most of her day wardrobe. It's the only sensible thing to do. She has no truck with this wear-it-once business. She took it a step further yesterday, when she wore the exact same coat to the St Patrick's Day celebrations as she did last year. To the same event.
The coat is lovely and green and designed by Emilia Wickstead. To accommodate her five months of pregnancy, she had the coat let out so it didn't have to wrap quite so far around. And she left off the belt. Easy peasy. Very thrifty.
And then she paired the coat with black tights and hat, instead of the brown of last year. But managed to wear the same shoes — although this year she did get her heel caught in the grating of the parade yard. Oops. Not only did Prince William gallantly hold her up as she disentangled. But the smirk on the face of the saluting guard (who just kept on saluting) was amusing for everyone.
