Even though Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, is about five months pregnant, she didn't let that stand in the way of enjoying herself for a weekend away in the snow. She went tobogganing and then for a nice walk when her husband and Harry decided to get in some skiing. And of course she enjoyed the off-piste social activities and the wedding for which they were all there.

I like the look of the pregnant princess. She has filled out in her face — back to what she used to look like at University, when she first came into our consciousness as a potential future wife of William.

Her hair is less 'overdone' and I liked that she left it without those silly bouncy curls that make everything look too 'styled'. Which I think is just very dated now.

I love the leopard print silk dress that she is wearing under her coat. She has, of course, worn all these items before. Kate never knowingly wears a new piece for a friend's wedding, rather using it as an opportunity to recycle some of the items she has worn for official engagements.

Her outfit for tobogganing was her usual skinny jeans and shearling jacket from LK Bennett that she usually wears when she walks the dog. She added to it some new wooly boots that I could do without, but it is all well and good for the environment.

A pretty silk top was in order when she went for her walk. It is lose enough to accommodate her growing bump, and yet she still looks slim and elegant and youthful. It's going to be a while before she willingly gives up those skinny jeans! Nice to see Kate looking relaxed and happy and well. Long may it last.
