Everyone in the whole world who cares about such things took a vote and we all unanimously agreed that the best dressed person at 2013 SXSW music festival was Solange Knowles. By a country mile.

You know there was that Marni dotty situation to start off with, followed swiftly by two performance outfits that need a moment of your time and attention. This jungle print Mia Moretti for Pencey suit is my favourite, anchored as it is by a plain white shirt and heels. It is unusual for Solange to only wear one print. But what a print it is!

Then there was this Clover Canyon shorts suit, which has become something of a signature look for Solange. This version of the shorts suit is gently printed and paired with a clashing Marni print blouse and a pair of awesome Nicholas Kirkwood heels.

Now isn't this a man-sandwich every girl would love to find herself inside of? And of course Solange manages it perfectly. It is of course Pharrell Williams and Usher. Yum.

Solange makes a neoprene blouse work here as it is paired in a bold colour-blocked outfit with orange shorts. And clear plastic booties. Amazing.
