Of course it has also become apparent that HRH The Queen and Kate have become besties. They are so cute together as they both never stop smiling all the way through these official engagements. Kate's hair continued to improve with less tumbling curl, and more cool twists up top. But the shoes were a let down. Last time she wore this coat (with the blue Zara dress from the day after her wedding underneath again), she paired it with suede Prada courts. This time it is functional navy pumps. A bit nurse or stewardess uniform for my tastes. But the hat is new and lovely and by Rachel Trevor Morgan, who also did Queenie's hat for this occasion. Lovely.
