This is not the first time we have spoken about Kim Kardashian and her love of Spanx. But it is the first time she has denied wearing them. As I wiggled into mine last night (it was an event, it was better for everyone), I thought about how weird Kim has been looking and sounding lately. I mean, of course, more than normal. She wore that Stella McCartney dress a few days ago — and despite all evidence to the contrary, she said that she got it like that. With the nude Spanx-like lining. Riiight.

As a long time exponent of the super-effective shape wear, Kim has been seen in her Spanx multiple times. I mean there are no shortage of photos of the tell-tale flesh legs peeking out from so why deny it now?

And it is not like she wore the whole vibe particularly elegantly. She has been wearing those dreadful boots rather too regularly of late. Most recently with this monstrosity of a strapless military style dress, that really could have done better without them. I say blame it on Kanye. He has told her to be a bit more experimental and daring in her clothing choices.

Like experimenting with looking like Princess Leia? Really Kanye? Is that what you meant? If not, maybe share that with your girlfriend, who seems to have got it seven layers of WRONG.

Marginally better — but not by much — is this outfit she wore yesterday. With a peplum cutting across the broadest part of her hips. And her boobies hanging out. And a dog collar. As you do. Seriously. I give up. Not with all of you. Just with the KK. Done.
