Funny lady and actress — writer and lead actor in my film of 2011 Bridesmaids — Kristen Wiig, is the new cover face of Marie Claire for the August 2012 issue.

Having recently left Saturday Night Live, on which she was a regular for seven hilarious years, Kristen has flung herself into her films and has currently got two on release, two in post production, one in filming, and three in pre production. That's one busy lady.

She is also coming into her own style, and looks completely comfortable in Tom Ford suits, YSL trousers, Calvin Klein separates and a bit of flair from Emilio Pucci in this shoot.

Kristen is also quietly dating drummer from The Strokes, Fabrizio Moretti, and attended cast mate Ellie Kemper's wedding with him on the weekend in a totally adorable dress, proving that her own style is just as cool as that which Marie Claire put her in. Nice one.
