Congratulations to South African Marie Claire magazine for landing onse Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco (and Benoni) for their cover of the August 2013 issue. There are two versions of the cover — one with just our Charlene, and the other with South African Olympic gold medalists for swimming — Ryk Neethling and Chad le Clos. It should be no surprise that the reason she did the cover was to support the 'Get the Girls to Gold' campaign that raises funds for eight promising young female swimmers — aged 11 to 15 — to train for the 2014 Olympics in Rio.

As an Olympic swimmer herself, Charlene wants to see these girls succeed and is using her foundation to support these efforts. She says, "I hand-pick projects that are close to my heart and home. I still come home and do my bit. I believe that it’s what we do – our actions – that should make a difference." Go and get this issue for the full interview and story inside.
