2013 Young Hollywood Awards Red Carpet: Best Dressed
I know I am a few days late. But there was a lot to sift through to establish who I thought was the best dressed on the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards red carpet. Because you see, I really didn't like very much. Sure the young 'uns need to experiment and try new things and go to weird places with their looks, this is definitely the time to do it. But I really miss the attire of those women who know who they are and what works for them. They know how to make a splash, whilst these babes are still working it all out. Having said that, I really, really liked AnnaSophia Robb in Emilio Pucci.
AnnaSophia, who plays young Carrie in Carrie Diaries, is really impressing me with her style. She knows what works for her and her diminutive proportions. The colours are great on her, the shoes — metallic courts — are the perfect shoe right now on the red carpet, and the make up was totally complimentary  This is an excellent outfit. And it fits well. Happy days.
I also LOVED the Ted Baker top and trouser that Holland Roden from Teen Wolf wore. I mean, how bold is this chick? It was such a risky move but it paid off. It is also totally accessible as you can buy this look right now. If you dare.
Of course I adore jumpsuits in all their guises. Alyssa Milano blew me away with this black Stella McCartney — with cut outs. Pairing it with yellow courts was also a triumph. But then again, Alyssa is no spring chicken and she knows how to make a sartorial statement.
Also in a jumpsuit and slightly older and wiser is the fabulous Anna Camp. She wore a white and gold jumpsuit from Lorena Sarbu and looked amazing. I think that the gold metal belt pulls the look together.
My mate Cat Deeley was dazzling in Etro. It was a massively risky look with both the bare sides and the dropped waist all having a go at spoiling Cat's amazing style. But somehow she pulls it off and looks incredible. I love her in bold, exotic colours.
And finally Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars caught my fancy. She was wearing a black and white lace look from Joy Cioci. I also like the metal detail on the belt, making the whole think quite a lot more modern. Very nice. So who was your favourite?
