So today is a blog day filled with things that other people have sent me. My twinkly friend Martin sent me this link yesterday. It was to a publication online called Bored Panda. Strap — The only magazine for pandas. Well who knew. But I was hooked. Then I started scrolling down, and look what I saw...
Image after image of classical sculptures by the great artists of the 15th and 16th century — all wearing modern fashion. It was the brain child of french photographer Leo Caillard who teamed up with art director Alexis Persani to make all this happen.
It is supposed to demonstrate how much civilisation has changed and continues to change. Well, yes it does. And it is fabulous fun too. This is what we want to see more of. Fashion as art, right there.
