The ladies of Downton Abbey were out in Beverley Hills this week promoting season 4 of the amazing TV series that just starts season 3 on our screens this Sunday. I always think that maid, Anna, Joanne Froggatt brings the style goods, and this occasion was no exception as she wore this wonderful blue and maroon print Camilla and Marc combo skirt and top. She looked lovely. Also completely surprising me was Sophie McShera — who plays mousey little maid Daisy — who looks sensational in this fitted floral dress from Zara. What? Incredible.

Then the upstairs sisters also gave it a go. Possibly not as colourfully as the downstairs ladies, but I did adore the Moschino Cheap and Chic 'piano keys' dropped waist dress that Laura Carmichael wore. Good girl! Maybe I expect more from Michelle Dockery, but although she looked very nice in this Elie Saab shorts and jacket vibes, I felt a little let down in the face of the floral from the high street. Just shows you, doesn't it. Amazing designer clothes don't always stand out in a crowd.

Who was your favourite? Maybe it was even Mrs Hughes, Phyllis Logan, who also looked a sunshiney treat in her pink prints. Doesn't she look like the funnest one to hang out with?
