I gave old Jennifer Aniston a hard time for her floral Dior dress at the London premier of her new movie, We're the Millers. I also refer to everything she wears that isn't a little black dress as 'not black'. And yet, as she returns to black for the Berlin premier, I actually breathe a little sign of relief. This Alexander McQueen black dress may be a predictable colour, but it is anything but boring.

The kick flare skirt is pretty and the belt interesting and Jen looks cool and age appropriate — in fact she looks fantastic for her age really. I would quibble a little about the fit around the bust and shoulders — and those sleeves do something a bit distasteful around the pits at certain angles. But frankly I'll take that — and the incessant black dresses — over her last two looks any day. Maybe Jen was teaching us a lesson. Maybe she was helping us appreciate her normal style. Whatever. It worked. Well played.
