The thing about Scarlett Johansson is that she is an itty-bitty person with incredible curves. Like a mini-Sofia Vergara, without the humour. This combination is like cat nip to the men-folk, who love the vulnerability and sex appeal of it all. Scarlett played this up to the max last night at the 2013 Venice Film Festival, at the premier of Under the Skin.

She wore an off-the-should old-school glamour gown by Versace. She was falling out of that bodice in the most sensuous way, really bringing the buxom to the red carpet. The rest of it fitted like a glove and fell to the floor with a delightful drape. This is a sensational gown, no doubt.

Earlier in the day, Scarlett had attended a photo call for the movie wearing a very subdued high waisted Roland Mouret trouser and striped Sonia Rykiel top in on-trend black and white. And while the designers and individual pieces are fabulous, somehow Scarlett made the whole situation look a bit soccer-mom to be honest. I do think you need to do better than this at a Venice photo call. Then again, she was probably just saving it all for the evening premier...one last time for the boys:
