The black and white trend is going nowhere. It is now at that tipping point between uber trend and sliding into classic, wardrobe must-have. We know for a fact that we have at least another 18 months of it. And so I will continue to collect the best of what I see the celebs doing so that I can pass on to you for inspiration and ideas. Take Eva Mendes. This was at the launch of her own line of pretty, rose print dresses. And she chose to wear the white blouse and pencil skirt from her collection. Classic and cool. Alek Wek paired a white dress with black shoes and accessories for her combinations this week. And Olivia Palermo went full-ball as usual with her print-tastic dress look. That one is probably my favourite. What about you?

Oh, and then there was Solange Knowles. Not technically a black and white combination. More a white on white situation. And a splash of pink in her lip colour. But I couldn't leave it out as it was one of the most striking looks of the week. With yet another example of how an inch (off the hem) can render a good outfit absolutely GREAT. Cracking.
