Sometimes Jennifer Aniston can still surprise me. Apparently her performance in the new movie Life of Crime, which premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival this weekend, is very good. Also, look at this dress. It is not black. It is in fact the most beautiful shade of soft blue. It matches her eyes. It is by Dame Vivienne Westwood. And the class shows.

I think she looks fabulous in it. It is almost as if she has stopped trying so damn hard to be hot, and embraced elegant and sophisticated and pretty instead. Which comes as a surprise, to be fair. Also, I can really do without the racoon eye make-up, but the dress makes her eyes look so pretty, I will forgive.

Jen had, of course, worn a little black dress to the photo call. As Jen's LBDs go, it is quite a nice one as it isn't in the style of a vest. But nothing will take away from that Westwood of joy.Well played.
