This post is a few days late. It all took place at the tail end of last week on the final day of Mercedes benz Fashion Week New York. It was the Calvin Klein show and after party. And Francisco Costa had lined up an a-lister for his front row. Nicole Kidman appeared — in a form-fitted greige sheath of a dress with a fine gold belt and a sleek bob. She looked sensational.

It all went a bit awry after that. Nicole got knocked to the ground by a pap on a bike. She wailed and threatened legal action and hobbled off in one shoe in the most undignified manner. But she is made of sterner stuff in the end. She is after all from Oz. So she got changed into another fabulous CK dress, had her bob curled into an adorable riot and turned up at the after party, all smiles. Good girl.
