Alexa Chung Style 2012

It is always a good idea to check in with my mate and fantasy fashion book club member Alexa Chung. You know, just see what's up, what she is wearing and what we can take away from that about what we will all be wearing in no time at all. I am pretty sure we won't be wearing Chanel Resort, however, as Alexa did earlier this week. It didn't really work for her anyway, so it's fine.

I am pretty sure that many of us will, however, be wearing dungarees of some kind. These are Alexa's own design for Madewell. Worn as she does with Chanel and Charlotte Olympia. Of course.

Alexa has also got a vibe going here yesterday, which is a dungaree-a-like vibe as she hung out with Anderson Cooper on the Today Show.

I am a big fan of when Alexa cleans up good and proper. Like she did for the Louis Vuitton event she attended in Shanghai a couple of months ago.

Or even better, this Moschino dress she wore a few weeks ago in New York City. How beautiful?

I am also always going to love it when Alexa goes full boho-hippy-chic as she and her friends did in the front row of New York Fashion Week, at the Anna Sui show. Pretty and feminine and girlie — all the things that Alexa is, when she is not being champion dry-funny.

And then there was Alexa in a plain old pretty dress earlier this week, hanging out with the newest addition to the fantasy fashion book club, Rashida Jones. I am so glad that they are looking out for each other in New York while I can't be there...
