H&M Collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela Is a Go!
Who would possibly have ever believed that reclusive and avant garde design label Maison Martin Margiela would collaborate on a low-end mass collection for cheap high street retailer H&M. But it is all happening, as confirmed yesterday when this image was published saying it would be in store on the 15th November. Book your overseas tickets NOW.
Later on yesterday, several images were released of the advertising campaign for the collaboration, which will appear in the November issues of the world's biggest fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, GQ and Dazed.
The campaign was shot on the streets of Paris by British photographic artist Sam Taylor Wood and featured two models — Sarah Murray and Marie Sophie Wilson.
If you manage to get to one of the 230 international stores on 15th November, and get to the front of the queue while stocks are still on the rails, you can expect black pieces. Some white. All beautifully tailored, if a tiny bit strange. Please let me know if you are lucky enough to experience this. Thanks.
