Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, Styled In Paule Ka
Attending a function with her husband at Middle Temple yesterday, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wore an autumnal skirt suit in deep berry, designed by Paule Ka. The French Paule Ka label is known for a sharp skirt suit and this is the first time that Kate wears anything by this brand. And it works perfectly for the occasion, handing over legal study bursaries in their name. And that colour! Oh, that colour is wonderful.
The skirt is definitely shorter than Kate usually wears, but with the black opaque tights, this is no problem at all. The jacket is a little boxier than she usually wears too. Usually she is very sleek and fitted. And this would have worked perfectly, giving her more shape, if it wasn't for that blasted hair.
A year ago, I could think of nothing better than having Middleton hair. Now I am over it. I just wish she had tied it up in a chic low bun or something. Just freeing up that heavy collar a bit and giving light to her lovely face. And moving on from the same old predictable hair style she has been wearing for years. Everyone needs a pick-me-up every now and again and a cool hairdo is one of the easiest ways to do it. Please, Kate, please, give it a go? Thanks.
