Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, In Temperley London
Once again Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has turned to British designer of pretty, feminine dresses, Alice Temperley for a dress. Attending the official Royal celebration of the medal success of the British Olympic and Paralympic teams at Buckingham Palace yesterday, Kate wore a black dress with sheer overlay and embroidered flowers, by Temperley London.
As is completely usual with Kate at these kinds of event, she looked like she was having the best time. She tended to focus on the success of the women and girls, showing support and interest in so many of those events that she personally attended. However, I'll put money on that this was one of her more enjoyable obligations and that the broad grins and intense chats were totally authentic.
I was very happy to see that Kate has bought a new pair of shoes for the occasion. I expect we will see them in high rotation this winter. They are black suede platforms with a much rounder toe than we are used to from Kate. Border-line cool these ones. Let's see if they last.
