The Hauding Image Awards are also known as the Chinese Oscars. The star turn on the red carpet of this week's event, was Nicole Kidman, escorted by Jackie Chan. I love that he looks so incredibly proud and happy that he got to squire this amazingly beautiful woman down the red carpet.

And just look at Nicole. She is wearing something quite a bit more revealing that she is given to. I mean there is very little to the gown up on top. And yet Nicole makes it all look incredibly elegant and you don't have that fear that you are going to glimpse something you shouldn't.

The dress is Prada and it is a bit strange. I mean those arm cuffs are a bit unexpected. And yet somehow it works. I think that Nicole's beauty and poise have a lot to do with that. And that it somehow looks exotic and just right for the occasion. It seems like a Macau kind of dress.

It really is quite different from the L'Wren Scott dress that Nicole wore on the weekend in LA. Velvet and buttoned up all the way to the neck. She must have felt quite liberated in the Prada after all that!
