Almost as a palette cleanser, the African print style queen, Solange Knowles, did an about turn on Tuesday night as she attended the American Ballet Theatre Gala by wearing floral and cherub prints instead. Much more European than African, this was a refreshing, if unexpected, switch up. Just in case we get overly used to seeing her in tribal, with her 'natural' afro hair, she donned Dolce & Gabbana frockage and flat ironed her hair sleek and straight. Thankfully the fuchsia lip was firmly in place and she looked amazing. Feminine and pretty. And that's great. Now bring back edgy cool Solange for next time, please. Thanks.
