I met Scott Schuman the other night. Who, you ask? Scott is better known as The Sartorialist, arguably the most famous street style blogger in the world. And certainly an early influence on my decision to start this blog way back when. Scott is in town for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa, and he has been popping out all over Johannesburg to shoot some street style, which you can see by going to The Sartorialist. It was cool to meet and have a chat, to find him more relaxed and funny than you imagine. Sadly his girlfriend and even more amazing blogger, Garance Dore was unable to join him here in South Africa as she is in Dallas. I think Scott wins this one.

If you look very closely at this picture, and the one with Scott, you can see a neckpiece I am wearing. This is by a local Cape Town designer called Pichulik.
