We are so used to seeing my mate Victoria Beckham being the very best possible advert for her own line of clothing. Dressed up and immaculate. So it is fun when we catch a glimpse of her at the field watching her little boys play football. All relaxed and easy on a Saturday afternoon. Wearing a dress with an elasticated waist. Fact. I LOVE her.

Of course she looks amazing. Cool and sophisticated even when dressed down. But she gets stuck in with the brood and their friends and isn't hung up on looking perfect.

Little baby Harper looked super cool too, in her little romper of joy — also elasticated at the waist — and silver sandals. And that adorable bow in her hair. I confess I tried to do my niece's hair like that yesterday. She was having none of it. Ripped it out almost immediately. Harper is much more committed to the fashion cause, it is clear.

And then there was the outfit she wore on Sunday. Her own jeans. Boot leg. I know. Her own sunnies. Amazing. And a black vest top. Perfect. VB can do no wrong. As you were. Carry on.
