When you decide to choose the best dressed winners of the 2012 British Fashion Awards you are spoilt for choice. But I have chosen what I think were the top four. Starting with the Style Icon award — for the third year in a row — Alexa Chung. Yup, this is a woman who has changed our ideas of what is fashion, is synonymous with a style of dressing that millions of young woman all over the globe try and emulate, and has maintained this influence for years. That is exactly what a style icon is. Last night Alexa was wearing a Simone Rocha black lace dress and amazing Nicholas Kirkwood shoes.

Also looking amazing and unexpected was Stella McCartney, who won twice or Designer Brand and Designer of the Year. Wearing an embellished black satin jumpsuit. Just brilliant.

I loved the lime metallic mini dress that the Model of the Year, Cara Delevingne wore. It was Burberry of course. Great.

And Roksanda Ilincic was in her own design naturally since she won for Red Carpet Designer of the Year. Love the colour. Love the pattern. Love the lip colour. All round awesomeness. So which one do you like? Any of them? Let me know.
