Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, Wears Mulberry to the Museum
Back on the 28th November last year, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, wore this green (or 'cabbage') Mulberry pleated dress to a Jubilee event at Buckingham Palace. We barely saw the dress last time as Kate was always in a crowd. But almost exactly one year later, Kate wore the silk dress again to do a solo engagement to the Natural Museum in London. And we got a full look.
This is a sweet dress. It has the youthful 'peace and love' symbols woven into the fabric and a cute Peter Pan collar. The skinny belt and pleating keeps it modern. The colour is a little bit of a mouthful, but the length and fit are great. So on balance this is a good look for our Kate.
So let's talk about the hair. I really like the new Farrah Fawcett vibes. Late 70s/early 80s style is cool and interesting and the face-framing layers are going to make for some more interesting hair styles moving forward. And there is some change. So that's great. After years of exactly the same style, this is refreshing and good. So WHYYYYY are there still those ridiculous curls at the ends?? The rest makes me so happy, what on earth compelled her stylist to put in those stupid curls? C'mon man. All it needed was a flick at the ends, and it would be done. Please STOP with the curls, or at least comb them out. Please. I beg of you. Thanks. Rant over. Phew.
