I am loving Emma Thompson's new-found premier style. It is much more exciting and fashion-forward, with a good dollop on good humour and plenty of fabulous fit and showing off her great figure. Really, what more could you ask for? And because she is just so damn LIKEABLE, we love it all the more.

Emma attended the 2013 AFI Fest yesterday where her movie with Tom Hanks, Saving Mr Banks premiered. She wore a elegant, chic and crazy 'Mona Lisa' Roberto Cavalli shift dress for the occasion that was fabulously flattering.

She did both the foot/hand prints outside the Chinese Theatre, and then changed into a more sensible pair of heeled courts for the photo call. The fact that this extraordinarily talented writer/actress is also so funny and sensible and ordinary and cool, is just all the more reason to love her. I wish she was my big sister. But I will settle for inviting her to be a guest at fashion fantasy book club this month instead.
