The dresses from Henry Holland were all inspired by one of his female friends. Who all just happen to be ridiculously famous. And modelled by two of them — Pixie Geldof and Kelly Osbourne. Pixie and Henry were at the party yesterday. He says, "This time we have created a range of dresses inspired by some of the most inspiring women I know. All the girls are inspirational in many different ways and I often draw inspiration from them in my work. I wanted to create a dress that portrayed their personality as well as their personal style and I'm really pleased with the results." Inspiring really ;-)
I of course bought the Kelly dress, inspired by Kelly Osbourne, as it was the most age appropriate for me. The white shirt dress style is perfect for this summer.
I did get excited by the Aggy before the divine Ms Jenna Bruwer from GQ said to me, "a bit junior I think, don't you?" Yes, Jenna, yes it is a bit junior for me. A very nice way of saying 'mutton dressed as lamb' — a saying I think I will be using a lot going forward. (Sharon Stone and Halle Berry, you have been warned. )
The dresses range in price from R119 — R149 and are totally worth the price tag when you consider what is going on here... international designer, after an international star, money for charity. Boom. Buy now. PS: The Alexa dress, s the cute blue and white stripe tunic, and the Rihanna is the jungle leaf.
