I know, I know, the Dita von Teese lingerie collection is not yet available here in South Africa. But I thought that the launch in the UK was worth mentioning for two reasons. First of all, I learned something. Secondly, the pictures are just so lovely. So let's begin with this gorgeous velvet dress that Dita wore to the launch, and how she loves to pair a midnight blue velvet dress with the black lace bra peeking out the top.

What I learned from this was that the bra is called a over-wire bra. And its intended to be seen above the neckline of a low-cut dress. I LOVE IT. Who knew this even existed? And of course it was Dita that brought us this awesome snippet of information.

This is what the bra looks like without the dress. Amazing. Dita says she designed this range of lingerie — which goes up to a size 20 and bra cup E — to allow all women to enjoy the luxury and beauty of vintage corsetry and lingerie. Thank you, Dita.
