Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, At the Rugby
Look, she's just like us! Sort of. Prince William is a patron of the Welsh Rugby Team charity in support of injured players. As a dutiful wife, it means that Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has to schlepp along with him to a rugby game or two. The one between Wales and New Zealand was the one they hit up this weekend. With freezing temperatures, Kate did the sensible — and stylish thing — and wore a LK Bennett coat, in the bold, bright, brilliant colour of Wales, red. Totes appropes lady!
More exciting than wearing a coat that she wore first in Denmark last year, is the hair. Do you see what I see? No bloody bouncing curls! Yippee! That sleekness with just the upward flick at the end is a step in the right direction. It still needs some modernising, but it is so much better and cooler without those interminable rounded ends.
Prince William wore a co-ordinating red tie in support of his rugby team, and seemed to be rather disappointed, but polite, in the face of the crushing defeat they suffered at the hands of the All Blacks. But no worries, a good day out was enjoyed, and Kate seemed to have a jolly good time as ever. Good girl.
