She has been keeping a rather low profile recently, but Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, popped out on Wednesday night to meet up with her sister, Pippa Middleton, at a charity event in support of the Ormiston Children. And Katie decided this was an appropriate time to take her lovely pup, Lupo, along with her. Endearing, if a tiny bit strange.

The sisters wore their signature — now terminally dated — style for the chillier months. Jeans, suede knee-boots over them, and a poloneck jumper. Kate's shearling coat from last season looks lovely, luxurious and toasty, but I actually prefer Pippa's blue leather jacket and scarf as this is a bit more modern. Don't you think? In addition, I prefer Pippa's slightly shorter hair. You know I'm going to say it. If only Kate could have worn her hair up in a ponytail... If only.
