Katherine Hepburn Style: Cate Blanchett and Agyness Deyn

Most of you guys will already know my penchant for Katherine Hepburn style. I super-love the ability we ladies have to wear masculine suiting and shoes, and to end up looking more sexy for it. And so imagine my delight when the last week has offered up two magnificent examples of this style.

First we had the superlative Cate Blanchett in a grey wool Giorgio Armani suit, paired with a classic white shirt, glasses just like mine, and a pair of silver lace ups. You could possibly have gotten yours from Zara or Mr Price, but these shoes are from Loeffler Randall.

Then last night at the Gotham Film Awards, model-turned-actress Agyness Deyn also wore a suit. This one was a bronze colour, which she also combined with a beautiful classic leather lace up shoe. A stunning wool coat in a similar shade of bronze finished it off. Together with a change in hair colour and not a single accessory, this look was extraordinary in its simplicity and beauty. LOVE IT.
