So this month, together with a bunch of other talented women, Keira Knightly takes her kit off for a magazine. This kind of thing usually just annoys me and I ignore it and walk away. I see absolutely no reason whatsoever for a recognised talent to parade in the buff for others pleasure. I mean it's not contributing to the STORY is it? But — surprise! — this one wasn't so bad.

This is a real, actual, surprise as Keira alone is enough to annoy me on a good day. But this shoot was for hair and make-up magazine Allure, which almost always brings out the best in their shoots.

And the garments are top drawer. Chanel jacket. Tom Ford suit and trouser. And of course the hair and make-up are utterly flawless. And there is no Valentino in sight.

But maybe the most compelling aspect of the shoot is that the photographer was Mario Testino, who has the ability to produce beautifully sensual images without the smut of say, for example, Uncle Terry. Just saying. What do you guys think? Too naked or pretty cool?
