Late last week the BAFTA organisation held a LA soiree where they handed out awards to the entertainment community in recognition for their work and as a bridge between the Hollywood and UK film industries. Or so the bumph tells me. I'm not sure still what it is all about, I am just happy that there are ladies in awesome dresses on red carpets. And one such lady was our newest style darling, Kenyan actress, Lupita Nyong'o.

For the occasion she continued her run of unexpected style statements with this asymmetric number by Lanvin, from the Resort 2014 collection. It was accompanied by a slew of vintage Fred Leighton jewels, including earrings, bracelet and rings. Very lovely.
