Two of my absolute favourite designers in South Africa launched new websites yesterday. First of all there was HABITS, the ever-evolving home of Jenny Le Roux and her successful shopping site. Their relaunch campaign involved a 'Bet you didn't know' challenge, which included the information that their online store had been going — super well — since 2002. Seriously, this is trail blazer stuff in SA terms.

The site is very easy to navigate, clean and pretty and compels you to visit different sections, including what's new (I am always interested in this one) and their superb travel collection, for which I was lucky enough to style the campaign images — as seen here. Shot by Gavin Kleinschmidt.

The second relaunched, revamped online presence is for my mates over at KLuK CGDT — you know — those guys who just won the 2013 African Designer of the Year award.

Their site is much more editorial, rather than a shopping site. It really gives you a feeling of their brand, their aesthetic, their collections, their various offerings. You can watch their amazingly sumptuous videos, page through their cool shoots — often with incredible models and photographers — and fall in love with their garments, all of which are priced and detailed for your convenience.
