Onse very own supermodel, Candice Swanepoel, will wear the $10m jewel-encrusted Royal Fantasy Bra at the Victoria Secret annual fashion show next week. This is a big deal. And our girl was on hand yesterday to launch the bra — and matching belt — to the media. For the occasion she wore a floor-sweeping gold gown designed by Zuhair Murad. Totes appropes.

Of course this is not any old bra. No. It was designed exclusively for Victoria Secret by jeweller Mouawad — which sounds more impressive than it is, considering I doubt very much whether anyone else would have a use for a $10m bra and matching belt designed entirely out of 18 carat gold and 4,200 jewels. That pear-shaped ruby in the middle is 52 carats all on its own. Seriously.

But Candice does — and will — look spectacular in the thing. If there ever was a girl made to wear such a piece of underwear, it is definitely her.

Candice was on Good Morning America yesterday morning, drumming up excitement for the media launch of the bra. For that occasion she wore a monochrome outfit with Christian Louboutin courts. I really love this look on her.
