Did you see that amazing performance by Pink at the American Music Awards? Who really can say that they don't love this feisty pop gal? She really is consistently amazing. And while she didn't win any awards for her red carpet style, she did make an interesting choice which wins lots of points with us. The soft brown laser-cut leather and silk chiffon gown that she wore on Sunday night was designed by Durban-born designer Catherine Deane.

Catherine Deane has dressed many celebrities before, including Pippa Middleton a few times. And Selena Gomez. Beyonce too. You know, all the cool kids. And while Catherine was born and raised and educated in Durban, South Africa, she is in fact based in Hong Kong and regarded as a British designer. We won't have any of that! We claim her as ours. And with that comes all our support and celebration when she achieves good things.

Of course, this wasn't the first time that this dress was worn on a red carpet. The one and only Kim Kardashian wore it in blue a few months ago. And actually looked rather lovely — must have happened before she met Kanye West. Anyhoodle, go Catherine! We have your back.
