Even though Thandiwe Newton aka Thandie Newton has a Zimbabwean mother, she is very English with only tenuous ties to her African heritage. But recently Thandie spent some time in Nigeria filming, and while she was there she got to know and love some local designers. Not least of which one of my favourites, Jewel by Lisa. Lisa Folawiyo has shown her collections a few times here in South Africa and has been broadly applauded and celebrated for her talent. Now Thandie is taking her styling to the world. She wore this jumpsuit to a charity event in Canada this past week, and paired it with Jimmy Choo 'Anouk' heels. Doesn't she look good? Nicely done ladies.
