Singer Adele attended the investiture ceremony yesterday at Buckingham Palace, where she received her MBE from Prince Charles. And seemed to be having a glorious time with a good old chin wag and a fit of the giggles.

For the occasion she wore a custom Stella McCartney dress that looked absolutely amazing on her. And it wasn't black. She looked tres tres chic in my view. I also loved the Philip Treacy bejewelled veil which was cooler than a hat. And she did her nail special-like for the occasion, with navy paint and a little crown embedded on each ring finger nail. True to form. Really good girl.
