Aside from the fact that Blake Lively is a red carpet goddess who has seldom ever put a foot wrong, what pleases me most about this get-up is that it is fierce, sexy and ridiculously on-trend. In other words it is a dress every single woman wants in her wardrobe. And nothing makes me happier than a woman recently married to one of the most delicious men in the world, who dresses for herself, not compromising on her style to play some role of what a 'wife' should dress like. The red leather studded dress is by Isabel Marant of course — edgy cool at its best — and demonstrates how much sexier a person can look without having to resort to dressing up in vegan dominatrix boots. Just saying.

I love the dress, and I love the Louboutin cage heels that blend rather than fight with the dress. I don't love the hair, which is a bit over-styled for this dress — a messy ponytail would have worked better in my opinion — but I do like that the wedding ring has come out to play and Blake seems beyond happy with everything right now. I would too if I were her. No?
