Cate Blanchett in Givenchy for Royal Premier of The Hobbit
Sadly in the absence of Kate Middleton, Cate Blanchett had to step up as the main draw of the camera lens. And trust my girl to do it with this kind of class. Ice-white, sculptured Givenchy from the SS13 collection, with metallic embellishments on both shoulders, and a bit of a sleeve to keep out the freezing temperatures in London at the Royal Premier of The Hobbit last night.
Backless with slits up the side the dress had plenty of sexy built into the imposing frontage. And of course Cate was charming and gracious as she worked the red carpet with her cast mate Sir Ian McClennan. Beautiful.
Oh and PS. If you don't think that Cate in this Peter Pilotto peplum blouse that she wore earlier this week is just as fashion-relevant as some of the other kids whose style you follow, you are very much mistaken. She is crazy-great in the style department. More people need to get on board with this. Let's rally the troops!
