This is not the first time that I will be calling a 'miss' on Diane Kruger of late. She wore a weird Marchesa dress recently that I really hated. It was over embellished and a bit 90s. Kind of like this one by Valentino. Although, to be fair, this Valentino is not nearly as bad. I don't hate it. I just don't really think it works like Diane in almost anything else. What do you think?

Maybe all it needed was to put her hair up. Maybe that would have given the over-worked fabric a space to breathe. Maybe it needed someone darker to wear it, or short sleeves or a bold lip colour. I don't know. It all seems like a lot of work needed to be done to make this one sing. So much so that not even Diane could make it happen. Oh well. You need a miss every now and again to appreciate the hits, right?
