Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, In Polka Dots at SA House
Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, respectfully popped over to South African House in Trafalgar Square yesterday to sign the book of condolence for Nelson Mandela. Despite snivelling every single time I talk about his passing, I can also appreciate that this skirt suit was beautifully fitted and the severity eased by the tiny polka dots on it.
I like that Kate didn't wear stark black. It is such a try-hard thing to do and not what Madiba was all about. She was also cheerful and pleased to be there. Which is exactly right as we continue to celebrate his life and legacy. It is amazing that the suit was so good on her, considering that she last wore it in 2008, and before that in 2007. It has held up well. I am impressed. Nice to see you K-Middy.
